Mayor hopes Moscow not to require additional restrictions
MOSCOW, Nov 12 (PRIME) -- The Moscow city government has introduced minimal restrictions to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on Thursday and hoped that no new limits will be necessary.
“We control the situation as tightly as possible and introduce minimal restrictions. We introduce them to prevent worsening of the situation… I hope that no additional decisions will be necessary. But everything will depend on the situation,” he said.
Sobyanin also said that the traffic of the city’s public transport has decreased by 40% on the year and that closure of cafes and restaurants in the daytime would hurt the industry much.
